Having a website built is one thing. Having it properly optimized is another. I hear you can get a good SEO job done in your website for around $500 a month. You should take a look at SEOMoz for that. I personally recommend that you be the one to do a bit of your on-page optimization though. And perhaps hire for the linkbuilding if you have the budget to do so.
3. Do not forget about the mobile users. A lot of focus is placed on websites and the web traffic, but in recent years more and more people have turned to using their phones as their primary internet tool. When doing marketing, all of the techniques implemented should also include mobile friendly views for those that use their phones which means reaching a wider audience and gaining more traffic and clicks, which in turn means more revenue.

Master one source and then move to the next. Trying to become an affiliate marketer is tedious and you will probably start with just one main traffic source such as search engines, but over time, you will want to diversify as much as possible.

I guess, as the writer I am at liberty to include marketers whom I like or have interacted with. For this post I have included only those marketers with whom I have some level of interaction. Harsh for example wanted to hire me for his blog. I have known Matthew Woodward since the time he started his award winning blog and so on.People like Frank Kern are so busy that they won’t even notice if I have written about them and they don’t actively blog too, I guess.

Make your content as genuine and insightful as possible and then use various promo channels and techniques to promote it.
